In force as of 12 October 2026. This is a courtesy translation: only the French version is legally binding.
Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern the services offered by Antoine CRISPATZU, sole trader (EI), trading under the name “Bike & Visit”, SIRET 105 584 437 00013, 8 rue d'Avolsheim, 67200 Strasbourg, hereinafter “Bike & Visit”, to any natural person acting as a consumer, hereinafter “the Customer”.
Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs, which the Customer acknowledges having read before confirming their order. Bookings made through a partner platform (Airbnb, GetYourGuide, Viator) are governed by that platform’s terms, in particular for payment and cancellation.
Services for professionals (hotels, companies) are subject to a quote and to specific terms.
Article 2 — Services
In Strasbourg, Bike & Visit offers:
The content, duration and route of each service are described on the website. The route may be adjusted on the day depending on traffic, roadworks or events, without changing the nature of the service.
The carriage seats a maximum of 2 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child under 12. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Article 3 — Prices
Prices are shown in euros, net of tax (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code), per carriage and not per person. The applicable price is the one displayed on the website at the time of booking.
The bike taxi is charged according to the rates displayed on the website (a flat rate for the first kilometres, then a price per kilometre). An estimate is given to the Customer before departure.
Article 4 — Booking and formation of the contract
The Customer books via the website form, choosing the service, date, time and language. They then pay a €25 deposit via the secure payment link provided (payment provider SumUp).
The contract is formed upon receipt of the deposit and of the confirmation e-mail sent by Bike & Visit. Until this confirmation, the request does not constitute a booking and the time slot may be allocated to another customer.
The sum of €25 is a deposit (acompte) within the meaning of the French Consumer Code, and not a forfeitable down payment (arrhes): it definitively commits both parties, subject to the cancellation terms in Article 7.
Article 5 — Payment
The balance is paid on the day of the service, before departure, by bank card (SumUp terminal) or in cash. Gift vouchers are paid in full when ordered.
Article 6 — No right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Tours and the Travelling Table booked for a specific date are therefore not covered by the 14-day withdrawal period. The Customer does, however, benefit from the free cancellation option described in Article 7.
For a gift voucher bought online with no service date set, the Customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, to be exercised by e-mail to bikeandvisit@gmail.com, as long as the voucher has not been used.
Article 7 — Cancellation or changes by the Customer
Any cancellation or change must be made by e-mail, text message or WhatsApp to +33 7 68 35 73 83.
Article 8 — Cancellation by Bike & Visit
As the carriage is covered and heated, services take place in all weathers. Bike & Visit may nevertheless cancel or interrupt a service for safety reasons (weather warning, strong wind, black ice), a vehicle breakdown, a decision by the authorities or force majeure.
In that case, the Customer chooses between postponement to another date and a full refund of the sums paid, within 14 days.
Article 9 — Conduct of the service and safety
The meeting point for tours is the Strasbourg Tourist Office, 17 place de la Cathédrale, unless a hotel pick-up was agreed when booking. The Customer remains seated during the ride and follows the driver’s instructions.
Bike & Visit may refuse or interrupt a service, without refund, if a passenger’s behaviour endangers their own safety, that of the driver or of third parties (in particular in the case of obvious intoxication).
Pets are welcome, under the supervision and responsibility of their owner, who is liable for any damage they cause.
Article 10 — Travelling Table and allergens
The Customer must report any food allergy or intolerance when booking. The list of allergens present in the menu is available on request and on board. Alcohol is served only to adults.
Article 11 — Gift vouchers
The gift voucher is sent as a PDF with a code to enter when booking. It is valid for 12 months from purchase, for the service or amount stated. It can be used once only, is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash, and is not extended after its expiry date. Booking a date with a gift voucher follows Articles 4 to 9.
Article 12 — Liability and insurance
Bike & Visit holds professional liability insurance with Allianz. Bike & Visit is not liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings left unattended, nor for damage resulting from the Customer’s failure to follow safety instructions. These limitations in no way reduce the Customer’s statutory rights.
Article 13 — Souvenir photos
The complimentary souvenir photo is taken only with the Customer’s consent. It is published on the Bike & Visit website or social networks only with their express permission, which may be withdrawn at any time.
Article 14 — Personal data
Data collected when booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy policy.
Article 15 — Complaints and mediation
Any complaint must be sent in writing to bikeandvisit@gmail.com. Bike & Visit undertakes to reply within 15 days.
If the complaint is not resolved, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge, within one year of their written complaint, to the consumer mediator: CM2C (Centre de la médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris – www.cm2c.net – declarer-un-litige@cm2c.net.
Article 16 — Governing law and language
These T&Cs are governed by French law. They are written in French; in the event of translation, only the French version is binding. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in accordance with the French Code of Civil Procedure and Consumer Code.
