The route
Setting off from the foot of the cathedral, you head for Petite France, its half-timbered houses and its canals. You pass through a secret square few visitors find on their own, before following the Barrage Vauban and the Ponts Couverts.
Back towards the centre via the Palais Rohan, then the Neustadt and its imperial façades, the Janus Fountain and Place Broglie.
